Every accommodation remains fully visible on the platform, even without payment. No features are blocked and accommodations are not removed offline.

At this moment, there is no functional difference .

Paying accommodations support the platform and can offer positive benefits in the future , such as:

extra visibility
additional promotion or filter options
Additional search functions
a clear color marking on the map
periodic visitor reports

Yes, this is a future position .

The report will provide insight into, among other things:

the number of visits to your accommodation page
the number of door clicks to your website or booking environment
the number of clicks on call or email

We cannot determine whether a booking has been completed , because this action falls entirely outside the scope of our platform.

This report will become available to accommodations that support the platform.

Possible later expansions are:

a free booking module for accommodations without their own system

Payments contribute to significant development of the platform, but are not a condition for visibility.

The subscription period starts two months after receipt of payment . This period provides time to check details and report any errors.

We strive for stable and low rates. With high constant costs, an adjustment cannot always be avoided. Any changes will always be announced in a timely manner.

Your page is usable from the moment we publish it online.

Changes are processed as quickly as possible. In practice, this is usually within a few days to a maximum of a week.

Work is being done on a login facility for accommodations. This is currently not yet available.

This falls under reporting changes and will be adjusted by us.

The basic information is sourced from the Flemish tourism organization and is supplemented with details from the accommodation itself.

The guest should contact the accommodation in the first instance. We will correct any errors on our part as soon as possible.

Statistics are intended exclusively for the relevant accommodation. Visitor data is not collected or shared.

Technically, this is possible. The main question is why; disclosure entails no obligations.

Our objective is to bring together a large and comprehensive overview of accommodation options. Based on the Flemish tourism database (approx. 30,000 accommodations), we hope to eventually bring 6,000 to 7,000 locations online. By early 2026, there will be approximately 1,300 to 1,500 — including all hotels, many B&Bs, all campsites, and various other addresses.

Important to know: You will always be in direct contact with the accommodation itself. Whether it is a booking for an overnight stay or a longer stay, communication is always direct with the location — never through us or an intermediary.

When you see an orange button on the site containing the word “us”, this always refers to the accommodation itself, not Overnightstay.be.

U boekt altijd rechtstreeks bij de accommodatie. Overnightstay.be heeft hierin geen enkele rol.

Nee. Wij zijn niet betrokken bij reserveringen van betalingen.

Wij kunnen hier slechts signalerend in zijn en niet bemiddelen.

De informatie wordt aangeleverd via een zorgvuldige werkende organisatie en door de accommodaties zelf. De verantwoordelijkheid voor de juistheid ligt bij de accommodatie.

Nee. Aangezien wij geen rol hebben in het boekingsproces, kunnen wij niet helpen.

Wij zijn volop bezig met het aanbod uit te leveren. Ons doel is om zo snel mogelijk 5.000 tot 6.000 accommodaties online te brengen.

Het aanbod wordt continu bijgewerkt.

ChatGPT baseert zich op informatie van het internet, dat een verzameling is van verschillende bronnen en ideeën. Wij adviseren daarom altijd kritisch te blijven. U ontvangt bij ons minimaal een telefoonnummer en/of e-mailadres, zodat u bij twijfel rechtstreeks contact kunt opnemen met de accommodatie.

Uw persoonsgegevens worden nooit gedeeld met derden. Accommodaties ontvangen uitsluitend geanonimiseerde statistieken, zoals het aantal bezoeken aan hun verkoperspagina of het openen van hun boekingsfaciliteit — nooit IP-gegevens van persoonlijke informatie.

Overnightstay is een jonge organisatie met een duidelijke doelstelling: een volledig en toegankelijk overzicht bieden van overnachtingsmogelijkheden, zonder provisies en zonder tussenpersonen.

Het ontwikkelen, onderhouden en uitbreiden van het platform brengt kosten met zich mee. Omdat wij er bewust voor kiezen om geen provisies te rekenen en het gebruik voor gasten volledig gratis te houden, zijn wij deels afhankelijk van ondersteuning door derden.

Voor wie dat wil, is de mogelijkheid om het platform vrijwillig te ondersteunen. Daarvoor is een apart rekeningnummer beschikbaar gesteld. Eventuele bijdragen worden uitsluitend ingezet voor:

We realize that contributions are never a given. Nevertheless, using Overnachting—through direct booking without commission—results in concrete cost savings for both guests and accommodations. Some users therefore consciously choose to share a portion of that benefit with the platform.

Every contribution is voluntary and is received with appreciation.

Because we do not have large marketing budgets, word-of-mouth advertising plays an important role. If you are satisfied with the concept and use of Overnightstay, it helps enormously if you bring the site to the attention of friends, family, and acquaintances.

We believe that personal contributions in particular drive sustainable growth — especially in a market where many guests stay close to home and consciously choose local.

We are a small organization; therefore, a response may take a little longer than you are used to.
